1. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has launched India’s seventh navigation satellite of the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS 1G) into a Sub-Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (SubGTO) on-board PSLV-C33. The satellite was launched from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, which is situated 90 kms from Chennai.
2. China has launched a sounding rocket designed to conduct research, take measurements and scientific experiments in the country's Hainan Province. Kunpeng-1B was launched from Danzhou City in the early hours today by the National Space Science Center (NSSC).
3. China launched a retrievable scientific research satellite in a bid to aid scientists to study microgravity and space life science.
