Important International Boundary Lines
| Durand Line | Between Pakistan and Afghanistan , demarcated by Sir Mortimer Durand in 1896 |
| Hindenburg Line | The boundary between Germany and Poland , the line to which Germans retreated in 1917 during First World War |
| Line of Control ( LOC) | It divides Kashmir between India and Pakistan |
| Maginot Line | Between France and Germany |
| Mannerheim Line | Between Russia and Finland |
| McMahon Line | Between India and China, by Sir Henry McMahon in 1914. China doesn’t recognise this line. |
| Oder Neisse Line | Between Germany and Poland |
| Radcliffe Line | Between India and Pakistan by Sir Cyril Radcliffe in 1947 |
| Siegfried Line | Between Germany and France |
| 17th Parallel | The line which defined the boundary between North Vietnam and South Vietnam before the two were united |
| 24th Parallel | The line which the Pakistan claims should be the demarcation between India and Pakistan |
| 38th Parallel | Between North Korea and South Korea |
| 49th Parallel | Between USA and Canada |
